The DTS is designed to encourage students to develop in personal character, to cultivate a living relationship with God, and to identify their unique individual gifts and callings in God. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout these courses, preparing the students to reach current and future generations and answer the call to "Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations" Matthew 28:19.
A DTS is divided into two parts: lecture phase and outreach phase.
In the lecture phase, teachers cover many topics from the nature and character of God to hearing His voice. This will deepen your head and heart knowledge of the Lord and challenge you to reach the lost with the Gospel of Christ.
On outreach, students may teach English to adults and children, minister in orphanages and schools for the blind, participate in sports ministries, staff medical clinics, and prayer trek throughout the Himalaya, Hindu Kush and Karakoram mountain ranges.

ONEDTS is a year-long program combining DTS with a local church internship and community focus. The split, 2-summer format offers a 12-week lecture phase during one summer and outreach phase the next summer.
Lecture Dates 2010:
May 23rd – August 10, 2010
Outreach: Summer 2011
Lecture Dates 2011:
May 22nd
Outreach: Summer 2012
Students are challenged during lecture phase, with incredible teaching and worship, to develop intimate relationship with God, shape life-vision and grow in close community with others.
Following the lecture phase, students participate in a local church internship while continuing college studies or employment. During this school-year phase, students live out what they’ve learned in the context of “real life” by actively serving their local community. Students continue in close relationship with fellow-students through ongoing community prayer and worship.
The following summer, students are sent out to carry the good news of the Kingdom of God to areas like Nepal, India and Thailand. During outreach, students have the opportunity to see God move in amazing ways and gain a deeper heart for the nations through encountering other peoples and cultures.
